UN chief meets Mahira Khan during his Pakistan trip
United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres is almost done with his four-day visit to Pakistan.
Guterres, who landed in Islamabad on Sunday, told reporters that “One of the main purposes of my visit is to spotlight the real Pakistan — with all its possibility and potential.”
The UN Chief spoke at an international press conference titled 40 years of Afghan Refugees Presence in Pakistan: A New Partnership for Solidarity, where he lauded Pakistan for being "the world's second largest refugee-hosting country."
During his trip, he also got to meet Mahira Khan, who was appointed as a Goodwill Ambassador in November and is working with the UN Refugee Agency.
"It was a pleasure to meet Mahira," wrote Guterres. "I thank her and all Pakistanis for their extraordinary support."
Khan has been very active with her duties as Goodwill Ambassador; she visited Afghan refugees in Peshawar last year as part of a high-profile UN delegation ...
Jemima shares poster of herself, PM Imran and Bushra Bibi, gone viral

The poster has a picture of her along with Bushra Bibi and her former husband PM Khan. Bushra Bibi is seen looming above her like a sorceress with Jemima lost in thought and Khan sitting on his PM chair. The poster says, ‘Tu nay kaisa jaadu keeya’ in Urdu.

Barbie manufacturer launches new dolls with no hair
Barbie manufacturer Mattel has launched a new line of dolls that its creators say will showcase “a multi-dimensional view of beauty” and “represent global diversity and inclusivity”.
The new additions, which will be released throughout 2020, include a Barbie with no hair and the skin condition vitiligo.
Mattel said that it aims to “redefine what it means to be a Barbie or look like Barbie” with the launch of its new doll with vitiligo, adding that it will allow children to “play out even more stories they see in the world around them”.
To design this doll, Mattel worked alongside a dermatologist to ensure vitiligo was accurately represented.
In 2019, a prototype of the new addition was debuted on Barbie’s Instagram account and it quickly became the channels most popular post ever, receiving more than 60,000 likes.
